The red floral paper on this pendant is Katazome-shi paper from the Kozo plant which is dyed with Persimmon fruit and soy bean juice. The back is made of Japanese Kanji prints, featuring royal Chinese writings transliterated in Japanese. It is almost 2 inches long.
