Hi there! I started making jewelry 5 years ago, and since then, Drops of Sun was born. It has been so exciting to watch my jewelry slowly take flight, and learn a lot along the way.

I love getting to know my customers, especially working together to design custom pieces! It is so neat to hear everyone's story.

I am originally from Wisconsin but recently moved up to the French-speaking city of Montreal, Canada, to be with the love of my life. He supports me in everything, and gives me ideas and critiques for jewelry designs. When I'm not making jewelry, I am busy working as a speech therapist, helping kids with lisps and language impairments. I love design and cooking. My guilty pleasure is catching up on numerous TV shows while making jewelry.

Eco-Friendly Philosophy:

Drops of Sun Jewelry is handmade from recycled and eco-friendly papers Recycled Banana Bark paper, Bamboo pulp paper, and recycled magazine paper. I began experimenting with these papers as a way to spread the word about making creative changes in our lives to help reduce, reuse and recycle. I believe that we are not powerless individuals in the destiny of our planet-- we all have the power and the responsibility to protect it! We can do this by making eco-friendly choices in what we eat, what we buy, and how we live. Wearing eco-friendly jewelry is one way to tell people proudly that you love this earth that that you make smart choices make it a more harmonious place to live.
